join?"

shape, actually great shape. It's what we do! Don't wait
to get in shape if you are interested in the martial
arts.

the martial arts. It is perfect for men and women in
their 30's, 40's, 50's and up! Our training environment
is friendly and motivating so you can learn at your own
pace.
Whether you are a beginner or a
competitive athlete tuning up for your next fight, we

"How long does it take to get good?"
With the attention you will receive in class, you
will be more proficient in protecting your self after
just a few lessons!
"Are
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai good for
self-defense?"
Brazilian
Jiu-jitsu in conjunction with Muay Thai is with out a
doubt the best system for self-defense. Our training
program is designed to teach students what really works,
even against much larger opponents. Our Urban
Combatives course rounds out our self-defense
curriculum.
"Are
Brazilian Jiujitsu and Muay Thai for women also?"
Yes! We have women in Brazilian Jiujitsu classes as
well as Muay Thai Kickboxing. At Philly And Jersey MMA,
our instructors pride themselves on helping women
develop the spirit of strength and toughness. Our
training enviroment is friendly and motivating so you
can learn at you own pace and, when you are ready, we
will gradually puch you to the next level.
"Is Daddis Fight Camps for everyone?"
No, it is not for everyone. We want to teach students
who have the desire to learn and who want to improve
themselves both physically and mentally. Whether you
have poor self esteem or lack confidence, it doesn't
matter. We will give you these tools. All you need is
the desire. If you've got that than Philly or Jersey MMA
is for you.
"Are
these martial arts safe?"
You won't get kicked in the head or walk home with a
black eye. We use the safest equipment and cut no
corners for your safety. Only those that desire and have
obtained the necessary skills are allowed contact
training.
"How long
will it take to get good?"
With the individual attention you receive, you will
be a better fighter and more adept in self protection
after just a few lessons. Everyone brings
different attributes with them. So, some
will learn at different speeds. But, we can assure
you that you will learn at the fastest speed possible
for you.
"How do I get started?"
Call 215-467-1008 or go to the Contact Us page to
reserve your introductory lesson.
"What should I bring to my free
introductory lesson?"
Just bring comfortable work out clothes like shorts
and a t-shirt. Please avoid zippers and buttons if
possible. Everything else you will need we
will supply for you during the intro class.
If you'd like to enroll in one of our programs
afterward, you may do so with a check or any major
credit card. So, come on in, we'll be expecting
you. Just let the person at the desk know you are
there for your free intro lesson.
"What Does The Introductory Lesson
Involve?"
It is okay to be nervous before doing anything new.
But, there is absolutely no need to be when coming in
for your free introductory lesson. The
introductory lesson is a great opportunity for you to
learn exactly how our programs can help you achieve your
martial arts and fitness goals in a hands-on
environment. There is absolutely no pressure to perform
at a certain fitness or technical level. One of our top
instructors will guide you through a 30 minute lesson on
the basics of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and Mixed
Martial Arts in an easy-to-understand and fun way.
About 99% of our new students have absolutely NO
background in martial arts, so all of our introductory
lessons are designed to build up your martial arts and
fitness levels from the ground up. We will get you to
work up a light sweat through exercises at your own
pace, so please bring athletic apparel or any other gear
you may be comfortable working out in. We will have
everything else that you will need for your first lesson
at Daddis Training Centers, so beyond that just bring an
open mind and ANY
questions about our programs and we'll supply the rest!
"How Do I Become A Fighter?"
Competition at Daddis Training Centers is open to
ANYBODY dedicated
enough to the rigors of competition-oriented training.
Some choose to compete and some do not have the desire
to do so. Either way is completely fine with us.
You do not need a stellar athletic background in order
to become a fighter, although we do require a
"never-give-up" attitude and the discipline and patience
to achieve a certain level of mastery in combat sports.
There is no difference between the curriculum for a
fighter and the curriculum for a "regular" student. In
fact, ALL of our students are trained to be good
fighters--some just choose to take that next step and
actually step into the ring. Before actual full-contact
competition, our students will have a chance to refine
their skills in controlled, live sessions like
full-contact sparring, freestyle Brazilian jiu-jitsu
grappling,
and full Mixed Martial Arts sparring. We will
build your experience and comfort levels up to the point
where stepping into the cage or ring is safe and,
ultimately, allows you to demonstrate the awesome skills
you have developed as one of our elite competitors.
But, please remember, becoming a fighter doesn't happen
overnight. Certainly, we've had many students
begin competing in large events in as little as 6 months
of training, but attendance must be good and some people
take more time than others. Either way, you
will be a part of a team and family and will have the
opportunity to support the other fighters in the
meanwhile.
"Why should I train at Daddis
Training Centers As Opposed To Somewhere Else?"
Certainly, it is your choice to choose where you
train. We will not try to sell you our
program. It sells itself. If you decide it
is not for you after your free introductory lesson, we
completely respect that. Why do we thing our
academies are the best places to train? Well, any
academy that can build champions in the most elite
Mixed Martial Arts Competitions would be a good sign
they have good instruction. We've served
thousands of members since our inception and 99% would
have great things to tell you about our programs
including how much weight they lost while they were here
and how much confidence they gained as a result of their
training with us. We have an elite staff
that is not only professional, but courteous and
friendly. We pride ourselves in our customer
service and treat all of our members as extended family.
We offer a myriad of programs with anything you could
possibly want to accomplish in the martial arts and
fitness and have experts in each area as trainers.
Just take a look at our programs page and you'll see
what we are talking about. But, perhaps the best
way for you to see what separates our academies from the
next is to try our free introductory lesson! There
is no obligation and any training center confident in
their program should offer you a similar opportunity.
